1. Data controller
The data controller will be the entity that commercially operates Privé Hours. Its legal name, registered office, tax details, country of establishment and dedicated privacy email will be published before commercial operation begins.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to visitors, registered members and professionals. When services are offered to people in the European Union, processing is also governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
3. Data we collect
Account and profile data
Account identifier, email, display name, account type, area, description, services and a record of acceptance of the legal terms.
Content and activity
Professional profile photos and videos, follows, reviews, ratings, requests, replies, and details relating to profile import or ownership claims.
Technical data
IP address, device and browser type, access time and security logs from the hosting and sign-in infrastructure may be processed.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Data is used to create accounts, operate profiles and showcases, enable communication between members and professionals, manage reviews and follows, provide support, protect security, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations and handle complaints.
Depending on the purpose, the legal basis may be performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interests or consent.
5. Special-category data
Privé Hours does not routinely request health data, data concerning sex life or sexual orientation, or other special-category data. Users must not enter such information in descriptions, reviews or free-text fields.
6. Age and professional verification
Confirmation of age, identity, ownership of material or professional status may be requested. Where possible, only the verification result is retained, not a full copy of the document.
7. Recipients and service providers
Data may be shared only as necessary with the professional receiving a request, with providers of hosting, storage, backups, authentication, security and technical support, or with competent authorities where legally required. Personal data is not sold.
8. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, a lawful safeguard will be used, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another approved mechanism.
9. Retention
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, security, compliance with legal obligations and the defence of legal claims. A detailed retention schedule by category will be published before commercial operation.
10. Cookies and local storage
Only technically necessary mechanisms are used for sign-in, security and storage of the adult declaration and language choice on the device. Analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies will not be enabled without the required prior consent.
11. Security and backups
Technical and organisational measures are applied, including encrypted communications, access controls and backups. Some data may remain temporarily in protected backups after deletion until the retention cycle is complete.
12. User rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of their data, object to processing and withdraw consent. They may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
13. Automated review
Automated tools may be used to detect fraud, suspicious activity or unlawful content and refer it for human review. Where required by law, human reconsideration is available.
14. Minors
The Platform is exclusively for people aged 18 or over. If data submitted by a minor is identified, steps will be taken to delete it and notify competent authorities where required.
15. Contact and complaints
Requests and reports may be submitted through the Contact and complaints page. The dedicated privacy email and details of the competent supervisory authority will be added once the country of establishment is finalised and before commercial operation.
16. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated for legal, technical or operational reasons. The current version and update date will always appear on this page.
Use of a profile is also governed by the Terms of use.
